WebDec 20, 2004 · On just a stripped out 7mm cam cap, you can take it to 6mm time sert real easy. The stripped out 7mm hole is almost the same size as the drill in the 6 mm kit. It just kinda cleans the threads on out. then you just install a 6mm time sert.This process removes very little metal.
