I used DW40 but it did nothing. The ones that work seem to close by themselves once you push them a bit, like there's a spring in the hinge. I can't see what's inside the hinge though. Any ideas? Glue one part on to door and other to inside of cabinet. Our top load washing machine hinged top cover, only opens 80 degrees then hits bottom of cabinet above.
