WebJul 23, 2007 · A Pearson Flyer just joined our fleet this summer. I have to disagree with the comment that the specs are close to a J30. In my opinion the specs are closer to a J29 which makes the 135 rating of the flyer sort of a joke. A J29 has similar disp. sail area, draft etc and rates 117. S2 9.1s rate 135. A 9.1 weighs about 1,800lbs. more than a flyer.
